With a strong brand presence, national service capabilities, and a reputation for quality and reliability, the company supports clients across manufacturing, logistics, construction, and mining.

As they continue to grow in Queensland, an exciting opportunity has opened for a dynamic Business Development Manager to join the team and drive growth in this key region.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Business Development Manager, you will spend the majority of your time on the road, focusing on new business development across your territory. You will also manage a select group of existing clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction and identifying opportunities for additional sales. The role involves selling high-quality air compressors, related products, and tailored solutions to a range of industrial clients.

Key responsibilities include:

Identifying new business opportunities and pursuing leads in key industries such as manufacturing, mining, and logistics

Managing and growing existing customer accounts, ensuring satisfaction and identifying further sales opportunities

Conducting site visits to assess customer needs, present product solutions, and develop proposals

Preparing quotes, pricing, and tenders in collaboration with internal teams

Building and maintaining strong relationships with decision-makers and procurement teams

Meeting and exceeding sales targets for both new business and account management

ABOUT YOU

You are a driven sales professional with a strong ability to build client relationships and close deals in a technical sales environment. This role requires you to be on the road, identifying new business opportunities, while also managing existing accounts for long-term growth.

We’re looking for someone with:

Proven experience in B2B sales and a strong track record of exceeding targets

Experience selling technical or industrial products, such as air compressors, forklifts, pumps, or similar equipment

A proactive approach with the ability to independently manage your own sales territory

Strong relationship-building skills to connect with customers, understand their needs, and offer solutions

A mix of new business development and account management: You’ll be focused on driving new sales but also managing key existing accounts for long-term growth

SALARY & BENEFITS

BASE $85,000 - $115,000 | Super 11.5% | Car | Commissions
