ABOUT THE COMPANY

My client is well-established Australian business is a national leader in providing hydraulic and industrial solutions to the mining, manufacturing, and heavy equipment sectors. With multiple facilities across the country, the company delivers engineered systems, maintenance services, and quality component supply to a wide variety of industrial clients.

Due to continued growth and long-term demand from key sectors, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Business Development Manager to join the team and take charge of a defined territory.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Business Development Manager, your primary focus will be to drive new business and expand existing relationships across a range of industrial sectors. Working closely with clients in mining, manufacturing, transport, agriculture, and heavy equipment, you’ll provide solutions that improve productivity, extend equipment life, and reduce downtime.

Key responsibilities:

Identify and target new business opportunities within strategic industries

Manage a portfolio of clients and develop strong long-term relationships

Promote a range of products and services including hydraulic components, repairs, rebuilds, and custom systems

Liaise with technical and workshop teams to develop tailored solutions

Prepare quotes, proposals, and tenders in response to customer needs

Meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining a strong service ethic

ABOUT YOU

You are a results-driven sales professional with a strong understanding of industrial or technical products. You thrive in solution-based selling and enjoy working across complex industries.

Proven experience in business development or B2B sales

Strong mechanical aptitude or technical background

Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills

Able to work autonomously and manage a sales pipeline

Comfortable with regional travel and face-to-face client engagement

If you have experience as a BDM selling similar products or services, we encourage you to apply

SALARY & BENEFITS

BASE $90,000 - $120,000 | Super 11.5% | Car OR Car Allowance | Commissions
