We're looking for an experienced, people-focused professional to take on a leadership role within our integrations support team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of systems, data, and customer experience. You’ll be technically capable, confident troubleshooting complex issues, and equally comfortable communicating with customers, partners, and internal teams.
About MachShip
MachShip is a fast-growing, award-winning freight management software business based in Cremorne, Melbourne. Our cloud-based platform is used by over 3,500 businesses across Australia and processes more than a million consignments per month.
We directly integrate with a wide network of transport providers (including Australia Post, FedEx, and StarTrack) and offer powerful connections into leading platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Cin7, and NetSuite.

Your Role
In this role, you'll work closely with customers to help integrate eCommerce and ERP platforms into the MachShip system. You’ll help facilitate these integrations from both a technical and customer-experience standpoint, guiding users through their setup and resolving more complex or unusual issues as they arise.
You will also:
Support and mentor the integrations support team in managing technical and how-to enquiries
Step into pre-sales conversations with the commercial team to explain integration workflows to potential customers
Build documentation, guides, and training materials to support the ongoing success of integrations
Help improve internal processes and drive best practices across our support and technical teams
This is a role where technical knowledge is critical — but being able to communicate clearly is just as important.
What We're Looking For
We’re not just looking for someone who can troubleshoot API calls — we’re looking for someone who can also guide a customer through the process, communicate with confidence, and work cross-functionally to get the right outcomes.
You’ll need to have:
Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
Excellent communication skills — ability to explain technical topics in simple, accessible terms
Familiarity with data formats such as JSON, XML, and CSV
A quick-learning mindset and the ability to adapt to changing technologies
Experience with tools such as Postman, Swagger, or equivalent API platforms
You’ll be highly regarded if you also have:
Experience training customers or internal stakeholders on technical systems
Experience supporting SaaS or logistics platforms
Project or stakeholder management experience
The ability to lead and mentor others in a support or technical environment
