Artisan Food and Drinks is seeking a Full time Retail Sales Rep for the Perth Metro region.

Monday to Friday or Monday to Thursday.

Who we are…. we are a wholesale distributor to the WA food and drink industry - selling to independent retailers, chefs, caterers and cafes, casinos, and stadiums. We are a young company, only 13 years old, operating solely throughout Western Australia and have built our reputation on a commitment to quality products and 100% customer service.

You will be responsible for driving business in the food service by developing new accounts and servicing existing customers, finding gaps, showing them new products and establishing opportunities with the goal of getting our full portfolio ranges into each of your allocated stores..

Finding and bringing on new customers or cold calling is something you can do with ease. We service all independent grocers and feature in every department - heavily in dairy & grocery - so you will already know these customers and have experience with them.

To be successful in this role you will require extensive experience in retail sales in Perth and have the ability to sell and get on with most people. If you've got experience in cheese sales; that would be amazing as we also offer a large range of European Cheeses. You know the market and you know the people within it.

Qualities and attributes required for this role will include:
· An ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external customers
· The ability to plan your own day to day sales activities

· The ability to work autonomously, reporting in daily via phone / occasional meetings with the sales manager
· Ability to learn an awareness of the merits of all our products and suggesting applications or ideas to customers

· Assisting customers with relays / stock rotations / tastings where necessaryExperience identifying and securing new business
· Excellent communication skills and reporting weekly to the team on successes and opportunities

· A knowledge or experience of foreign and domestic cheese sales and fresh black truffles - although full training will be given

You will need to possess a full and clean driver's license.

This role offers a competitive salary which will be dependent upon the candidates skill level and abilities.
