PILLAR Performance ('PILLAR'), is a leading Australian sports nutrition company, launched in June 2021. We produce a line of globally leading performance health supplements fit for purpose for the greatest athletes in the world.
Since our launch into the market in June 2021, PILLAR is now used by over 100 professional sporting franchises, including teams within the NBA, NFL, AFL, NRL, Olympic programs, World tour cycling teams, the NN Running team and a growing number of elite endurance athletes globally. Our products are sold via both direct, retail and distribution agreements throughout the world.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Qualify and manage inbound retail leads: Identify, engage, and nurture all retail opportunities across ANZ.
Initial outreach to new prospects: For accounts that have inbounded you may be asked to qualify via email, phone, and in-person outreach to build new partnerships.
Field and Community Activations: Champion our brand activations around Australia ranging from individual retailer, community to major event activations. Approx with 1–6 activations, expos, and / or in-person retail visits per month (more during peak event periods) to strengthen relationships, activate PILLAR.
Support onboarding and activation: Support our sales team to help new retailers get up and running quickly, ensuring they're set up for success.
Brand representation at events: Confidently communicate the PILLAR proposition, distribute promotional materials, and educate fitness community audiences.
Capture market insights: Gather feedback from retailers and consumers to improve our offerings and customer experience.
Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with operations, marketing, and sales leadership to escalate issues, share learnings, and drive results.

Clear, confident communication: Able to adapt messaging to diverse audiences - whether it's an endurance run store, fitness entrepreneur, gym owner, or event attendee.
Sales acumen and commercial instinct: Understand how to build partnerships that drive value for both PILLAR and our retail partners.
