We serve automotive workshops of all sizes, dealerships, independent repair shops, car wash businesses, trucking and mining maintenance across major Australian metro areas. With proven track record of success, we're expanding our fast growing East coast operations.
THE ROLE
We're seeking a tenacious Hunter Sales Representative to drive new business acquisition in NSW and interstate markets. This is a field-based role for someone who thrives on cold calling, building relationships from scratch, and has the resilience to turn rejections into opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Cold Calling - Proactive outreach to identify and engage new prospects
• Territory Management - Develop and manage NSW territory with interstate travel as required
• Product Sales - Promote our oil partner Total Energies oils and chemical partner WICS as primary focus
• Cross-selling - Leverage full WICS cleaning product range to complement oil/lubricant sales
• Relationship Building - Establish long-term partnerships with automotive, transport, and industrial clients
• Market Penetration - Target auto dealerships, repair shops, trucking companies, mining operations, and workshops
• Sales Cycle Management - Navigate 4-6 week sales cycles from initial contact to deal closure
• Travel - Regular interstate travel to expand market reach and service clients
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Essential Requirements:
• Proven track record in B2B sales within automotive, oils/lubricants, or related industries
• Demonstrated success in hunter/new business development roles
• Experience & passion with cold calling and prospecting (comfortable with high-volume outreach)
• Resilience and persistence - ability to handle rejection and maintain motivation
• Valid driver's license
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work autonomously where needed and within the team environment
Highly Desirable:
• Existing relationships within automotive, transport, or industrial sectors
• Experience selling oils, lubricants, or automotive products
• Knowledge of Total Energies, automotive cleaning products, or workshop consumables
• Track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets in competitive markets
