Experienced Medical Receptionist - Full time

Flinders Fertility is seeking an experienced, professional medical receptionist to join our busy clinic. To be suitable for this role you will need to be highly motivated, organised and have great communication skills, providing excellent care to our patients. This position requires a strong eye for detail and excellent interpersonal skills. You will need to be comfortable with the concept of the fertility process and be willing to join a bright, friendly and enthusiastic team.

The right applicant will preferably have experience in billing to Medicare. You must work well in a team, be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and be willing to accept significant change.

Welcoming patients into the clinic

Collecting & entering patient details

Scheduling appointments

Answering telephone calls & enquiries

General administration duties

Medicare billing

About You

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a medical reception role or customer service facing role

Prior experience in reproductive medicine will be highly regarded

Available to work on the specified days and some after hours and Saturday morning when required

Exceptional customer service skills

Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly

Professional & personable telephone manner

Understanding and compliant with patient privacy

Strong written & verbal communication skills

High standard of presentation

Strong attention to detail

Demonstrated initiative, time-management & flexibility.

Ability to multi-task and prioritise
