The Role
We are seeking a warm, organised, and professional Medical Receptionist to join our dedicated team. In this front-line role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients, delivering outstanding customer service while managing key administrative functions to support smooth clinic operations.

This is a full-time role that includes working alternate Saturdays 8.00 am - 2.00 pm. Weekday hours may be over 4 or 5 days. Must be flexible with rostered hours ranging from 8.00 am - 6.00 pm, Monday - Friday.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist patients with professionalism and compassion

Manage patient bookings, appointments, follow-ups and inquiries (in-person, phone, and email)

Maintain accurate patient records and data entry

Process invoices/ payments and health fund claims

Process referrals and contact patients to make bookings

Support clinicians with schedule coordination and clinic flow

General administrative duties including scanning, filing, and correspondence

About You

Previous experience in a medical receptionist or similar customer service role

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

High level of attention to detail and organisational skills

Ability to work efficiently, multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office and medical booking systems (experience with Xestro or a similar practice management system is a plus)

A genuine passion for patient care and healthcare services
