About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team at FTA Insurance as a Business Support Officer. Based in our modern office in CBD Melbourne near transport hubs, this full-time position offering hybrid working arrangements will see you working collaboratively with our Underwriters. You will be responsible for processing submissions through their life cycle of insurance and supporting the Underwriters. As FTA is a growing company there is room for career development.

What you'll be doing

Preparing insurance submissions received for the underwriters

Liasing with our insurance brokers in relation to documentation and following up on opportunites

Creating and issuing policy documents

Generally supporting and working collaboratively with our underwriters as part of the underwriting team

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a similar business support or administrative role, ideally within the insurance industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook

High attention to detail and the ability prioritise and to multitask effectively

Proactive and flexible approach to work, with a keen eye for process improvement

Winbeat knowledge would be an advantage
