SecureTel, a nationally respected provider of cutting-edge security installation and maintenance solutions, is on the lookout for a proactive and technically minded Junior Technical Support Administrator to support our Operations, Design, and Business Development teams.

About the Role
Working closely with the Operations, Design, and Business Development teams, this role plays a vital part in ensuring smooth project delivery, accurate information flow, and efficient client servicing.
You will be trained and supported to:
Assist with technical take-offs from plans, drawings, and specifications to support quoting and design accuracy.
Help prepare and update project documentation, including scopes of work, proposals, schedules, and client records.
Coordinate with the Operations team to track job status, technician scheduling, and site access arrangements.
Support the Design team with document preparation, drawing mark-ups, and version control (basic technical interpretation will be taught).
Aid the Business Development team with tender preparation, supplier research, capability statements, and client proposals.
Maintain and update internal job and CRM systems with accurate data for reporting and visibility.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, and clients as needed.
Collaborate across teams to support end-to-end project execution from quoting to final delivery.
About You
We’re looking for someone with strong attention to detail, a passion for learning, and a genuine technical aptitude—whether that's in maths, understanding diagrams, or being hands-on with technology.
You might be:
A school leaver with strong results in maths or technical subjects,
A recent graduate in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, drafting, business admin),
Or someone early in your career looking to grow within a technical support environment.
Key Skills and Attributes:
Strong numerical and basic maths skills.
Interest in or exposure to technical drawings, plans, or schematics (even in school or TAFE).
Excellent organisation and time management skills.
Comfortable with basic IT tools: Excel, Outlook, file systems – and open to learning industry-specific systems.
A team player with a can-do attitude and willingness to contribute across multiple functions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Curiosity to learn and a desire to build a career in the technical or security services industry.
