Our client has been supporting families and individuals with aged care and disability services across Newcastle, Hunter and the Mid-North Coast for more than 30 years with in home and community based services. Due to growth we have an exciting opportunity for experienced Finance Officer to join their team in their Coffs Harbour office.

The role:

• Manage the accounts payable and receivable function
• Manage all bank and credit card reconciliations
• Process payroll and payroll requirements
• Credit control
• Invoicing
• Financial reporting

What we are looking for:

• Certificate 3 in Bookkeeping, equivalent or higher (preferred)
• Experience working in a similar accounts role
• Experience with MYOB (desirable) and Microsoft package.
• Willingness to learn, absorb and adapt.
• Exceptional time management and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to produce high level reports and email correspondence
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Professional and friendly telephone manner
• Ability to take direction and accurately follow instructions
• Demonstrated a proven ability to successfully develop and maintain effective relationships with people at all levels
• A proactive and motivated self-starter willing to work as a team and independently
• Be punctual, show initiative and practice a positive can-do attitude
