About us:

Dutch Engineering manufactures aluminium ute trays, canopies, racks & toolboxes and has been trading since 1972.

Are you a highly organised, proactive professional with a passion for keeping operations running smoothly? We’re looking for an experienced Office Manager to support our Managing Director and lead the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of our business.

About the Role:

As our Office Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless running of our office and supporting financial and administrative systems. You’ll work closely with the Managing Director and other team members to help drive efficiency, maintain standards, and ensure excellent service for our customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

End to end accounts management including Payroll, Invoicing, payments, receipting etc.

Manage procurement, office supplies, equipment, and asset maintenance

Handle front office duties including phones, mail, and meetings

Maintain digital and physical filing systems

Provide general administrative support to the wider team

Run errands (e.g., banking, PO box runs) as needed

Respond to customer enquiries and assist in preparing quotes

Assist in Scheduling jobs and prepare job cards

Analyse product profitability and assist with price adjustments

Manage the company website and social media presence

Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, dealerships, and customers

Identify operational inefficiencies and propose improvements

About You:

You are highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple tasks across admin, finance, and operations. You’re tech-savvy, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Essential skills and experience:

Proven experience in office management or a similar operational/admin role

Strong understanding of accounting processes (accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, payroll)

Experience using accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks)

Proficient with Microsoft Office

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Desirable:

Social media and website management experience

Previous experience supporting senior leadership
