About the Role
We currently have a vacancy for a part-time Bookkeeper/Payroll Officer to join the accounts team based at Castle Hill. This position offers an excellent opportunity to take on a key finance position within a well established business and is based on a 25 hour week. You will be working in a team of 3 and assisting in managing the company's accounts and payroll, playing a vital role in ensuring smooth financial operations.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
Maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable
Preparing and processing payroll for employees
Reconciling bank statements and credit card transactions
Providing support in the preparation of financial statements and reports
Assisting with the company's tax compliance requirements
Performing other ad-hoc finance and administrative duties as required
About You
With a strong work ethic and at least 2 years bookkeeping/payroll experience, you will also bring:
Relevant qualifications in Bookkeeping or Accounting
Full Australian working rights or permanent residency
Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills
Experience reconciling financial accounts, including bank, merchant, credit card, and payment clearing accounts across multiple stores
Proficiency in MYOB, with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial data
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Excellent communication and customer service skills
