Hays Finance has partnered exclusively with the Australian division of a global group of companies who manufacture, develop and distribute specialised products used across the agricultural sector on a global scale. Due to an internal promotion, they are now seeking an experienced Accountant to backfill a role on an immediate start basis and work alongside a team based in the northern suburbs of Brisbane.

Your new role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Monthly financial statement preparation (P&L and balance sheet)
• Supporting the budget and forecasting process / analysis of actual vs budget
• Reviewing monthly reconciliations
• Inventory control and product costing
• Adhering to internal and external Audit requirements
• Ensuring compliance with all company tax regulations

What you'll need to succeed

• Be CPA/CA qualified or part-qualified
• Experience in a blue-collar environment (Manufacturing is preferred)
• Exposure to inventory control within a commercial company
• Extensive financial reporting expertise
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency in a range of software applications
