Due to the non-return of a maternity leave employee an accounting position has become available at Trekk Advisory Rockhampton
Hours: Flexible working hours, in office position 3 to 5 days per week.
Location: Rockhampton City
Start Date: Flexible, or as soon as possible.
Experience: Ideally the candidate would have 3+ years experience in an Australian accounting firm.

You’ll work directly with the partners, build strong client relationships, and manage a broad range of tax and business advisory services.
This is a genuine opportunity for someone who wants to progress, with a potential path to partnership and the flexibility to make life work outside of the office too.
Task Experience
Preparing financial statements, income tax returns, and Business Activity Statements (BAS) across all entity types
Managing compliance requirements for superannuation funds
Liaising directly with clients and building strong ongoing relationships
Reviewing files and providing guidance to colleagues
Assisting with the implementation and improvement of internal systems and processes
Contributing to the growth of the firm, with a potential path to partnership
What You Bring to the Table
3+ years’ experience in a public practice accounting firm in Australia
CA or CPA qualified or working towards the qualification
Strong technical expertise across income tax, compliance obligations, superannuation, GST, Division 7A and CGT concessions
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills
Confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with a genuine interest in supporting clients and colleagues
Software Exposure
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Confidence in using various types of software as our tech stack includes:
