We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Accountant to join our finance team.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-end transaction processing of accounts payable, receivable and bank transactions

Bank reconciliations across multiple projects and accounts

Debt management and monthly reconciliation across multiple projects

Prepare and lodge BAS across multiple entitles

Processing revenue transactions including property sales and incidental project income

Producing financial and management reports across multiple entitles

Support the year-end audit process preparing necessary documentation and reports

Supporting a culture of continuous improvement in our systems and processes

About You

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Commerce

3+ years’ experience in a similar Project Accountant role

Experience undertaking accounting across a portfolio of entities

Prior experience in construction/development is highly regarded

Strong organisation, time management, and attention to detail

Proficiency [or willingness to learn] Jonas Premier accounting software

Strong understanding of project accounting principles and practices

Robust understanding of Australian corporate and taxation legal framework
