We are now seeking the expertise of a motivated and energetic ICT Support Officer, to work closely within the Information Services team to provide Level 2 technical support to students, academic and professional support staff within a diverse Technology environment. In addition, under the guidance of the ICT Manager, the ICT Support Officer will assist in the development, installation, maintenance, and administration of the Information Services across IT, Print, Library, and eLearning as required. This role is offered on a full time basis.

Working with the ICT Manager, as a part of the ICT Team you will be responsible for:

Assist with the maintenance and servicing of the Information Services hardware including fault diagnosis, level 2 repair, support tracking and preventative maintenance;

Troubleshoot and manage Level 2 software, hardware and network problems;

Assist in the effective running of the IT system infrastructure including network;

Maintain and develop and of our Jira Ticket system;

Participate in IT team projects and initiatives across the School, as required;

Liaise with all clients to understand their ICT infrastructure needs and expectations.

Participate in-house low code applications, including web-based Reports;

Participate in the development and implementation of emerging technologies as directed;

Maintain user accounts in Azure and Office 365 environments;

Maintain End user applications and Office 356 Administration;

Ensure application control is maintained across all devices;

Ensure end user devices remain in line with the school’s security requirements;

Ensure Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Intune is operating efficiently for device management and further develop and optimise as required;

Ensure Operating systems and end user software is maintained across all devices;

Assist obtaining quotations from vendors and organise Purchase Orders; and

Other duties as required for efficient operation of IT as directed by the ICT Manager.

The successful candidate may possess:

Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience;

Knowledge of a variety of technologies such as Microsoft 365 Suite, Windows Server, Exchange, SharePoint, power automate and power apps;

Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager experience and or knowledge;

Knowledge and or experience in Cyber Security;

Willingness to learn new technologies and skills;

Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills;

Attention to detail, and the ability to respond efficiently to competing demands;

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team; and

Ability to liaise professionally and confidently with staff, trustees, students, parents and various external stakeholders.
