About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Bellevue Design and Construction as a Junior Custom Home Drafting Designer. In this full-time, office-based role in Brisbane, QLD, you will be responsible for creating custom home designs and drafting plans that bring our clients' visions to life.

What you'll be doing

Collaborate with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences

Develop conceptual designs and sketches based on client briefs

Produce detailed architectural drawings and plans using Revit software

Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes and regulations

Work closely with the construction team to refine plans and provide technical support

Stay up-to-date with the latest architectural trends and building technologies

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Architecture, Architectural or Drafting related field

Proven experience in residential home design and drafting, ideally 1+ years

Excellent technical skills in using CAD software such as AutoCAD or SketchUp

Strong understanding of building codes, regulations and planning requirements

Ability to translate client briefs into visually appealing and functional designs

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with clients and the construction team

Keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
