We seek a talented and hard-working individual with a positive attitude to join our design team who can make an immediate impact. This is for a full-time or part-time position with flexible hours.

This role requires technical drawing, graphic design and high organizational skills. As part of the team, you will be expected to produce Fire Evacuation Diagrams to a high-quality level. Producing these diagrams means you’ll have responsibility for the safety of the diagram users; therefore, accuracy is key. This position has prospects of growth for the right candidate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reading and thoroughly understanding construction plans and illustrating floorplans flawlessly through computer software

Project management – meeting deadlines, multitasking, recognizing priority responsibilities

Administrative duties, following our checklist routines ensuring tasks are completed systematically

Providing and maintaining stellar customer service through email and phone correspondence with a range of clients such as Business Owners, Builders, Managers, etc.

Collaborating with our office teams to troubleshoot and problem-solve

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
This role will be ideally suited to someone who is a quick program learner, with exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Being computer savvy and open to learning is a necessity for this position. Your attitude should be; Resilient, eager & enthusiastic in learning and receiving constructive feedback. Availability without restrictions will also be advantageous. We are seeking immediate starts and encourage all who hold these qualities to apply.

Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365

Adobe Suite exposure highly regarded

ASANA exposure highly regarded

CAD or Turbo Cad software exposure highly regarded

Plan Studio exposure highly regarded

Construction or Fire Safety knowledge and understanding, highly regarded
