Position: Medical Receptionist (Part-Time, Maternity Leave Cover)

Location: Bathurst, NSW

One of our wonderful receptionists is heading off on maternity leave, and we’re looking for a warm, friendly face to join our team! This is a 4-day-a-week, part-time role for 6–12 months, with the potential to continue on a casual basis afterward.

Whether you're a recent school leaver or a experienced professional, we welcome applicants from all walks of life — no prior experience required. We're simply looking for someone special to be at the heart of our front desks!

About the Role

As a Medical Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients — in person and over the phone. Your day-to-day will include:

Welcoming patients and visitors with a warm, professional attitude

Answering calls and managing appointment bookings

Checking patients in and out, processing payments, and verifying details

Supporting admin tasks like scanning, filing, and updating records

Working closely with doctors and nurses to maintain a organised and efficient workflow

What We’re Looking For

Excellent communication and people skills

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Confidence using computers and basic office software

Availability for both opening and closing shifts

A cheerful, can-do attitude!

*Experience in a medical setting is a bonus — but not essential. Full training will be provided.
