About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cellars Manager to join our team at COLAC Port Adl. This is a full-time position with an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic hospitality environment, specialising in Australian beer, wine and spirits.

What you'll be doing

Overseeing the daily operations of the bottle shop, ensuring seamless service and exceptional guest experiences

Managing inventory, ordering, and maintaining appropriate stock levels of all beverages and related supplies

Providing training and development for cellar and bar staff, ensuring high standards of Australian product knowledge and customer service

Implementing and enforcing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with liquor licensing regulations

Collaborating with the management team to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive business growth and profitability

Analysing sales data and making recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability

Fostering a positive and inclusive work culture that promotes teamwork and employee engagement

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry

Extensive knowledge of Australian wine, beer, and spirit varieties, as well as their serving and storage requirements

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement

Proficient in inventory management, budget planning, and financial reporting

Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Relevant qualifications in hospitality, business, or a related field would be highly regarded
