My client is a global leader engineers and supplies cutting-edge mechanical, compression, and electrofusion fittings, valves, and installation tooling for polyethylene (PE) pipeline systems. Their solutions are trusted by leading distributors, resellers, and project partners in the water, wastewater, gas, mining, irrigation, and industrial markets.
This is not a role for the passive or faint-hearted. I need an energetic, strategic hunter who thrives on market research, mapping out key stakeholders, and building powerful networks. You’ll be responsible for both identifying and winning new business and expanding relationships with existing clients—balancing hunting and farming to build a robust pipeline of project sales across civil, commercial, and infrastructure markets across VIC!

You start by diving into market research—spotting trends, identifying new projects, and mapping out key players in the civil, commercial, mining, and utility sectors.
You’re strategising with resellers and distributors, figuring out how to get your products specified in major infrastructure projects.
You’re out on site, steel caps on, talking shop with engineers, contractors, and procurement managers—solving technical challenges and showing how your solutions make their lives easier.
You’re building and updating a robust, data-driven sales pipeline—tracking deals, planning your next moves, and never letting an opportunity slip.
You’re not afraid to knock on new doors or revisit old ones, always looking for ways to deepen relationships and uncover new business.
You collaborate with technical and product teams to tailor solutions, ensuring every proposal hits the mark.
You walk into any organisation and confidently network map—engaging everyone from the ground up to the boardroom.

You have a proven track record in external sales—hunting for new business, nurturing key accounts, and consistently meeting or exceeding your KPIs and sales targets (THIS IS ESSENTIAL)
You started your career on the tools as a plumber and eventually moved into sales — if that’s you, you’re exactly who I am looking for.
You have well-established connections across civil infrastructure or water utilities or gas distribution or mining & resources or irrigation & agriculture or major construction projects.
You’re confident mapping out organisations, identifying key decision-makers and influencers, and building trust at every level—from site foremen to C-suites
You’re motivated by growth, both for your clients and your own career, and you’re ready to take ownership of your results and be rewarded for your achievements.

Salary Expectations:
$100k - $110k + Super + Company Car + Quarterly Bonusses
