About Our Client

Our team are currently partnered with a leading provider of commercial label manufacturing and print solutions, supplying premium-quality labels to sectors such as packaging, logistics, FMCG, pharmaceutical, and industrial manufacturing. With a strong national footprint and decades of experience, they are known for their innovative approach, service excellence, and commitment to tailored B2B solutions.

Due to continued business growth, our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Business Development Manager to help expand their client base and drive strategic growth across the Melbourne region.

About The Role

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key clients while actively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to procurement leaders, operations managers, and C-suite executives, delivering labelling solutions that solve real-world business challenges.

Key responsibilities will include:

Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to acquire new business across key sectors, including packaging, logistics, FMCG, pharmaceutical, and industrial manufacturing

Building and maintaining strong, consultative relationships with procurement teams and operational decision-makers

Managing the end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, presenting, negotiating, and closing

Working closely with internal production and technical teams to deliver customised, client-specific solutions

Staying informed on market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy

Consistently meeting and exceeding sales KPIs in a fast-paced B2B environment

About You

As the successful candidate for this role, you will be a proactive, confident B2B sales professional with a proven ability to build commercial relationships and deliver consistent results. You understand how to sell a tangible, technical product and are excited by the opportunity to play a key role in a growing business.

Additionally, you will bring:

Demonstrated success selling tangible products (preferably industrial or manufacturing-related) in a B2B context

Experience in consultative selling with the ability to develop and nurture strong commercial relationships

Strong negotiation and closing skills

Self-motivated with excellent communication and presentation abilities

Ability to travel regionally as required

Previous experience in or knowledge of label manufacturing, packaging, printing, or related industries is highly desirable but not essential

Salary & Benefits

$90,000 to $110,000 + Super + Company Car + Commissions
