Wellington & Reeves is seeking a Commercial Trust Accountant to join our leading real estate agency in Albany. This is a great opportunity to be part of a well-established, community-focused business in a vital behind-the-scenes role.

You’ll be responsible for overseeing the commercial trust account, ensuring compliance with legislation, processing transactions, and supporting our property management and leasing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily recepiting & reconciliation of trust accounts

Processing rent, bond, and expenditure payments

Ensuring compliance with trust account regulations (WA legislation)

Assisting with end-of-month and end-of-year processes, monthly statements/reports & annual compliance audit

Supporting commercial property managers and leasing officers

Compiling Variable & Outgoings budgets & reconciliations

What We’re Looking For:

Experience in trust accounting (commercial understanding GST aspects preferred)

Strong knowledge of trust account compliance

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Confidence using real estate software (e.g. Re-Leased, PropertyMe or similar)

A team player with great communication skills
