McWilliams Davis Lawyers is a multi-partner boutique law firm that practises in property and commercial law, strata law, commercial litigation, insolvency, employment law and insurance law. We have new offices located in the heart of Perth’s CBD on St Georges Terrace and on the waterfront in Bunbury.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an Accounts Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. Working closely with the Practice Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the firm’s financial operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional who is ready to take initiative, improve processes, and contribute to the leadership of a dynamic and client-focused firm.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include a mix of trust and general accounting, as well as accounts payable and receivable duties:
• managing day-to-day trust account transactions and ensuring compliance with trust account regulations;
• performing general and trust account reconciliations with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
• preparing IAS, BAS, payroll tax and superannuation lodgements;
• entering creditor invoices and preparing payments;
• managing debtors; and
• various accounts/administration tasks as required.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:
• Strong numerical and data entry skills with high attention to detail;
• Excellent organisational abilities and time management;
• A proactive, positive attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a legal practice; and
• Familiarity with Xero or similar accounting software.

Remuneration
Competitive salary. $85,000-$95,000, dependent on experience.
