Medical Receptionist

About the role

We are looking for a friendly, professional and organised receptionist who can work well in a growing specialist clinic in Bundoora.

To be successful, you will have had previous experience in customer service, a keen eye for detail and the ability to work well under pressure.

Days

The roles are for 2 to 4 days per week with the ability to cover for leave.

Key Responsibilities:

Meet and greet patients with exceptional customer service and delivery of quality, compassionate service to health professionals and patients

Manage doctor’s schedules across multiple locations

Manage patient appointments for consultation and referrals

patient data entry / Gentu

Patient billing via Eclipse

Organising & booking theatre lists

Medical audio typing

Help with marketing for a growing practice

Ability to work, cover sessions in other locations if required

Running consultation sessions and appointments

Ability to work well under pressure and open to the direction to ensure the smooth running of the Practice

triaging appointments and referrals

managing incoming and outgoing correspondence

Phone and email

It is important that you establish rapport with the surgeons and the patients and their families; a strong level of communication and time management/prioritisation is required.
