We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our dedicated team at Laser Dermatology!

Position: Dermatology Receptionist

Location: Laser Dermatology, 503 Elgar Road, Mont Albert North.

Working Hours: Enjoy casual, flexible hours with the potential to transition into a permanent part-time role.

Position Type: Casual.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism.

Manage phone enquiries, schedule appointments, and oversee patient bookings.

Process payments, invoices, and EFTPOS transactions.

Handle billing with Medicare and DVA, and reconcile banking transactions.

Ensure accurate and efficient patient records and information management.

Support the medical team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Deliver excellent customer service to enhance the patient experience.

Have an ability to cover annual leave and sick leave on short notice.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in medical reception or a similar role (3-5 years preferred).

Familiarity with medical software (experience with Xestro is a plus).

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Reliable with strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
