My client is a multi national leader that manufacturer and supply a comprehensive range of engineered plastic solutions, engineered thermoplastics, rods, sheets, tubes, tapes as well as polyurethane components and conveyor parts.
As a larger privately held company with strong presence across all major states in Australia as well as New Zealand and Pacific regions, the company has been in operation for nearly 60 years where they operate advanced plastic machining technology centres equipped for various processes such as CNC machining, injection moulding, laser cutting, waterjet cutting, and spindle moulding, enabling the production of custom plastic parts for diverse applications
The Role
Due to growth and a focus into new areas, the company is looking to bring on an experienced Business Development Manager who can cover a large NSW territory with a focus on regional areas and growing key new market areas for the business. These market sectors include the following.
Power generation
Mining
Oil and Gas
Metallurgy
Construction
Transport
Equipped with your market and product knowledge, your main focus will be to drive new business within these market sectors across NSW. Ideally this role will still have someone based in Sydney who is open to travel from time to time but we will look at someone located from Sydney to Newcastle.
This full time permanent role will see you opening new opportunities and providing clients with a reliable and attentive solution for their needs. You will focus on providing a high level of customer support and have a genuine passion for growing your territory.
About You
This technical sales role will benefit from someone with the following criteria.
Experience selling plastics, couplings, or relative engineered solutions
Genuine connections within the relative target market sectors.
Experienced providing a technical turn key solution sale over a transactional sale
Happy to travel across NSW when required
Genuine hunter and solution based mindset
