Our client, a national distributor of industrial equipment, is seeking a driven and technically minded Internal Sales Representative to join their team. This is a full-time role with flexibility to work remotely and an immediate start available for the right candidate, with flexibility to work from Perth, Brisbane or Melbourne.

The Role:
As an Internal Sales Representative, you’ll play a key role in managing inbound enquiries, preparing quotes, and supporting customers with technical product solutions. You’ll work closely with engineers, project managers, and procurement teams across the country. This role suits someone with a solid understanding of mechanical or industrial equipment and experience in a structured B2B sales environment. Ideal for someone with a strong background in B2B technical sales and a passion for engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle inbound enquiries and provide product recommendations to engineers, procurement teams and project managers

Generate quotes, process sales orders and follow up leads in a timely manner

Maintain accurate CRM records and reporting for weekly pipeline updates

Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure smooth delivery and stock coordination

Represent the business at trade shows, industry events and client meetings

Support tender submissions and assist with large account proposals

Identify and implement improvements to sales processes and tools

What You’ll Need:

5–10 years' experience in B2B sales of industrial or mechanical equipment

Strong understanding of technical products such as piping systems, filtration, or welding equipment

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Proven experience with CRM systems and structured sales reporting

Ability to work independently, from home or remotely as part of a small, cross-functional team

A proactive mindset with strong time management and problem-solving abilities
