We’re a newly merged $20M remote site supply business with bold ambitions – to triple revenue through a combination of smart systems, sharper sales execution, and more acquisitions. We’ve already got the financial backing. What we need is someone to build the quoting engine that gets us there.
This is where you come in. We’re offering you the reins to the internal sales function. You’ll be the hands-on leader who takes control of the entire quote cycle – RFQ to delivery – and builds the systems, team, and tempo to go faster and win more. You’ll report directly to the GM, have a seat at the table, and be trusted to make it happen.

The Role
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll lead from the front every day.
You’ll be responsible for internal sales performance– triaging and allocating RFQs, quoting complex or high-value jobs yourself, guiding the team on sourcing and pricing, and reviewing quotes before they go out.
You’ll take full ownership of the end-to-end process and play a lead role in building the systems and workflows to scale quoting capability as we grow.
Key accountabilities include:
📊 Lead internal sales team performance – speed, accuracy, responsiveness.
📥 Triage inbound RFQs and allocate via Hubspot Pro.
✍️ Personally quote high-value, urgent, or complex jobs.
🧠 Guide the team on sourcing, pricing, and quote accuracy.
🚚 Ensure accurate order entry and delivery in SAP B1 (note this will be spun off into a new team within 12–18 months).
📈 Monitor and improve quote response time, win rate, and follow-up discipline.
🛠️ Improve tools, templates, and systems to lift quoting effectiveness.
🤝 Support recruitment, onboarding, and training as the team grows.

You’ve worked in internal sales or quoting roles in industrial supply or distribution. You’re fast, accurate, and commercially sharp. You love getting stuck into the work– but you also think about the system, the numbers, and how to make everything better.
