The Role

Are you a culinary trailblazer with a flair for creating unforgettable dining experiences? A top-tier venue in the heart of Logan is on the hunt for an inspiring and innovative Head Chef to take the reins of its bustling kitchen and lead a passionate team to new heights. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you'll be at the forefront of food excellence - driving creativity, maintaining high standards, and overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The successful candidate will be required to have but not limited to the following attributes.

  • Creative menu design, provide seasonal menu changes, weekly specials, and function packages
  • Oversee all facets of Kitchen operations, policies, procedures, and food safety
  • Build client relationships to maximize ordering with local suppliers
  • Be a leader, manage and teach those in your team by leading by example
  • A hands on manager who will work with FOH to achieve KPIs and high service standards

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will be required to have but not limited to the following attributes.

  • Relevant Qualifications in kitchen operations and food safety
  • 5 + Years of proven experience in managing Clubs, Hotels or Pubs, Food Safety Cert and relative Qualifications in Commercial Cooking
  • Creative, passionate, inspiring & collaborative with a business acumen to succeed
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team that will continue to grow
  • Purchasing and stocktaking experience, managing budgets in COGS & rosters/wages
  • Great time management, calm under pressure, acts with integrity, honesty, and empathy
