For the first time in seven years, we are inviting applications for a full-time Head Chef for our highly popular, tourist-based establishment in the centre of Agnes Water. It is a wonderful opportunity for an existing head chef or someone who is prepared for a transition to a leadership position. This is a unique opportunity to be a dynamic kitchen team leader in one of Queensland’s most breath-taking seaside towns.

Your Role

Motivate and direct a skilled kitchen crew within a fast-paced environment

Develop and maintain a varied seasonal menu

Maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Supervise kitchen operations, stock control, ordering, and health and safety.

Work with the management to introduce operating enhancements and foster strategic plans.

Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.

Have a clear and comprehensive knowledge of kitchen operations, best practices and food safety regulations.

What We Are Seeking

Established experience as a Head Chef, or a sous chef looking to transition into a leadership position.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven capability to work harmoniously with the front-of-house team.

Passion for delivering the best dining experiences.

Ability to perform well within high volume and seasonal environment.
