About the role

As a Computer Service Technician at AsQuick IT, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for a variety of computer hardware and software systems. Based in our Geebung, QLD office, this full-time role is an integral part of our Information & Communication Technology operations.

What you'll be doing

Diagnosing and repairing computers and laptops, ensuring devices are running efficiently

Performing routine maintenance and upgrades on customer devices

Building computers

Answering phones and providing exceptional customer service and technical advice

Greeting customers in store, booking in jobs and assisting them with inquiries and support

Desktop and application support in a Microsoft environment

Ordering stock and maintaining inventory

Will be responsible for opening and closing the store

What we're looking for

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues

Excellent communication and customer service skills to liaise with clients effectively

Good time management and organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Up-to-date knowledge of the latest computer hardware and software technologies

Trustworthiness and reliability

Relevant qualifications or certifications in computer hardware/software engineering or a related field desirable

Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a computer service technician or in a similar role desirable
