About the role

QTK' is seeking an Apprentice Service Technician in Refrigeration - Transport to join our dynamic team in Darra, QLD. This is a full-time role that will provide you with hands-on experience and training in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry. While working with Senior Technicians, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems in the transport industry.

What you'll be doing

Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration equipment

Diagnose and repair issues with refrigeration systems

Install new refrigeration equipment according to specifications

Maintain accurate records of all work performed

Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations

Assist senior technicians with complex repairs and installations

Participate in ongoing training to develop your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

Reliable with a good attitude

Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn

Basic mechanical and electrical skills

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Commitment to providing excellent customer service

Valid Full driver's license
