We're currently seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician (Mechanical Fitter) to join this team of 45 field service technicians on the road.

We're looking for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude and a natural problem-solving mindset, who is also eager to learn and develop their skills.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair a diverse range of material handling and loading dock equipment, including forklifts, dock levellers, and hoists, focusing on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, installations, and scheduled servicing at customer sites and in the workshop.
• Provide on-site customer service, troubleshooting issues, offering technical support, and building strong client relationships.
• Complete accurate documentation of all services performed, including timesheets and maintenance records.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and compliance standards in all work environments.
• Travel regularly to various customer locations in the Gold Coast and Southside of Brisbane.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and potentially provide on-the-job training to less experienced staff.

Requirements:

• You're a qualified Mechanical Fitter or Engineer
• 2+ years of experience as a Field Service Technician OR mechanical fitter
• You have a valid drivers licence
• Excellent collaboration skills
• Valuable: experience in preventive maintenance

What is being on offer:

• Hourly rate: $38-47ph + penalties (according to experience)
• Your shift starts the moment you're on the road at 7:30am
• Overtime + weekends = with penalties
