This is a wonderful opportunity to join a friendly and fun team. Our reception team are integral to the running of the practice and are capable of dealing with all aspects of the practice administration. The practice is open Monday - Friday from 7:30am – 5pm.

About us

We are a well-established and respected Dermatology practice in the Sydney CBD. This position would suit someone who enjoys the pace of a General Practice and can offer the high level of expertise for a boutique specialist.

What we require from you:

5 years plus experience in Private Medical Specialist consulting rooms, or high level customer service role.

Intermediate computer knowledge and skills, particularly Word, Outlook.

Ability to work independently, as part of a busy team.

Exceptional English language skills, both written, and spoken.

Excellent telephone manner.

You are a multitasker and good with time management.

High standard of personal presentation.

Must be flexible to cover sick leave and annual leave.

Reliable and punctual.

To stand out from the crowd:

Experience with Medicare billing.

Proficient on medical software, Genie preferred.

Tasks & responsibilities include:

Meet and greet patients and other visitors to the practice.

Answering phones, sorting emails appropriately, data input, scanning and faxing.

Invoicing and receipting consultations, treatments, and products, taking cash and card payments.

Assisting dermatologists and nursing staff with administrative duties.

Maintaining clean, and tidy waiting room and reception area.

Preparing the practice for the days consults and organising and tidying consulting rooms at the begining and end of the day.

Coordinate multiple diaries.
