In Australia, we are expanding rapidly within the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and Utility solar sectors, providing robust, cost-effective solutions designed for Australian conditions.

We are seeking a motivated Business development manager to help strengthen our market presence, build strong customer relationships, and drive sales growth across Australia’s large-scale solar market.

About the Role

As a Business development manager, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and providing technical and commercial support for solar racking projects. You’ll work closely with EPCs, developers, and distributors to identify opportunities, present tailored solutions, and help deliver successful project outcomes.

This position is ideal for a technically minded sales professional who enjoys working independently, managing long sales cycles, and contributing to a growing company in a fast-moving industry.

Key Responsibilities

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the C&I and Utility solar markets.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with EPCs, developers, and project partners.

· Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals tailored to customer needs.

· Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure accurate and timely project quotations.

· Manage the full sales process, from lead generation through to contract negotiation and project handover.

· Represent Antai Solar at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.

· Maintain up-to-date sales forecasts, pipelines, and customer records using CRM tools.

Skills & Experience

· Proven experience in technical sales or business development within the solar, renewable energy, or construction sectors.

· Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and close deals.

· Understanding of solar racking, structural systems, or related mechanical components.

· Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
