The Role
This isn't just another sales gig. As Business Development Manager, you'll be the face of RaptorTech in NSW, owning the growth of your region and helping shape how we go to market.
Your mission:
Hunt & Close: Identify, target, and win new business across construction, civil, and earthmoving sectors.
Build Relationships: Develop long-term partnerships, not one-off transactions.
Strategise & Execute: Work with the GM, Marketing, and Technical teams to develop and deliver winning BD strategies.
Contribute & Collaborate: Your insights will help shape how we sell, support, and scale.
What We're Looking For
You're not afraid of a cold call or a complex negotiation. You're strategic, resilient, and commercially savvy. You know how to listen, position value, and build trust.
Must-Haves:
Proven track record in business development, sales, or territory management within technology, construction, earthmoving, or plant hire sectors.
Minimum 3-5 years of business development experience is essential for this role.
Strong industry network in NSW, with the ability to hit the ground running.
A growth mindset and the drive to carve out your own path.
Leadership skills and the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
Experience with GPS machine control, surveying, civil tech, or OEM/aftermarket construction equipment.
Comfort working in a hybrid environment (field, office, and remote).
Confidence with CRM systems, reporting, and feedback loops.
Moderate existing contacts within the NSW construction and earthmoving industry would be nice to have to effectively develop the territory.
