We are a commercial Waste Management service provider. Our core business is Commercial Waste Management Services. We are looking for an experienced Sales Business Development Manager with a proven track record to help grow the Business Further.

Comet Waste Management is a waste management and Recycling company servicing all areas across Sydney and contributing to making a sustainable Environment.
As a growing Waste Management company, we are looking for an experienced Sales BDM with a proven track record and heavily experienced within the Industry.
The Opportunity
Are you a natural relationship builder with a passion for driving growth? As our Business Development Manager – SME Clients, you’ll be our main sales growth manager to help growth the business and bring on many new clients, working with small to medium businesses to deliver tailored waste management solutions.
This Sales role is about partnering with clients, understanding their challenges, and creating solutions that support both their operations and the environment.
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
· Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities across the Small and Medium Business market aswell as the large businesses.
· Building and maintaining very strong relationships with key stakeholders.
· Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and client feedback to drive improvement.
· Collaborate with internal allocations and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
· Prepare engaging sales presentations and reports to showcase performance and growth opportunities.
About Yourself
· Proven experience in a Business Development role within the Waste Industry or B2B sales environment is desirable.
· Strong communicator and have the ability to build meaningful relationships with all stakeholders.
· You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can effectively prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines and you’re driven to achieve your set targets.
· Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, analyse market trends, and develop actionable plans.
Duties and Responsibilities
Estimating and quoting
Undertake Tender Walk Throughs and Preparation and Submissions of Tenders
Successfully winning and closing deals
Canvassing leads and turning them into Successful and Profitable Sales
Proactively looking for new business opportunities
The ability to work in a proactive team and account manage along the way

Key responsibilities
Must have a proven track record within the Waste and Recycling industry
Must be driven and willing to grow the company sales in the right direction
Must have at least 5 years experience in Sales and BDM
Actively source new business opportunities
The salary will be based upon your experience. If you have been in the market BD market in WM for 5 + years you will be favourably compensated.
This Role is Salary Base, Plus Company Car, Phone & Laptop
