An exciting opportunity exists for a proactive Management Accountant to join a large, multi-site industrial organisation based in Brisbane’s western suburbs. This hands-on, commercially focused role partners directly with operational leaders to provide insight, analysis and financial support that drives cost control, efficiency and performance improvement.

The Opportunity
Reporting to an exceptional leader and Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate reporting, analysis and business partnering to site and divisional leadership.

Your remit includes:

• Supporting operational teams with performance analysis and cost variance insights
• Preparing weekly and monthly management reports and commentary
• Leading month-end processes, journals and reconciliations
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and capital expenditure monitoring
• Providing data and reports to auditors and senior management
• Driving process improvement and systems development across multiple sites

About You

• Degree-qualified in Accounting, with CA/CPA (or working towards)
• Experience in management accounting or manufacturing finance
• Advanced Excel and ERP skills
• Strong analytical capability and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
