We are exclusively partnering with a dynamic, Brisbane-based commercial organisation seeking a versatile accountant to join their small, high-performing team. This is a permanent role offering long-term stability, variety, and genuine development opportunities within an exciting and growing business.

Reporting to the CFO, in this broad position, you will be responsible for end-to-end financial and management accounting, including financial reporting, general ledger management, budgeting and forecasting, compliance, audit support, and the preparation of BAS, GST, FBT, payroll tax etc.

You will also play a key role in developing forecasts, overseeing cashflow, income and expenditure and supporting payroll finance functions, including STP compliance, leave provisions, and payroll tax reporting.

This role also involves system and process improvement, mentoring junior team members, and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. It would suit a proactive accountant with strong technical skills who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and thrives in a collaborative environment. You will ideally be CPA/CA qualified, or working towards.
