Santrix Diesel is a leading national provider of mining equipment maintenance services, proudly supporting the industry with a team of over 150 highly skilled technicians specialising in hydraulic mining excavator support. We’re committed to delivering exceptional service, innovative solutions, and dependable performance to some of Australia’s largest mining operators and contractors.

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our administration team.

What the role will include:

ATO Reporting, BAS, Payroll Tax and Superannuation.

Total accounts system control and management.

Fortnightly payroll processing and EOFY payroll reconciliations.

Accounts Payable management including entering, processing and payment of supplier invoices, sending remittance advices, statement reconciliations, and staff expense reimbursements.

Accounts Receivable management including billing of invoices and debt control.

Quoting and purchase order acquisitions.

Processing of timesheets for 150+ employees.

Reconciling bank and credit card accounts.

Month-end procedures and reporting.

Provide an accurate financial picture of accounts at all times.

Professional liaison with suppliers, clients and employees to ensure timely receipt of funds and produce accurate reports on results and consolidate in Excel.

Working within the team you will also provide administrative support through general office duties.

To be successful in this role it is essential that you have:

Formal qualifications in accounting and/or bookkeeping.

Previous experience in finance administration or accounts within the mining industry is ideal.

Ability to lodge ATO reporting preferred, but not essential.

Knowledge and proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Understanding of accounting principles, accuracy and attention to detail.

Sound understanding of current legislative and legal obligations and requirements relating to payroll, tax and superannuation.

Demonstrated initiative in resolving queries and willingness to assist.

Self-motivated, enthusiastic, collaborative, and reliable.

Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
