An opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join the team based in Yatala. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this hands-on role provides cost control and financial support to Operations and Senior Management teams nationally. Your role will involve -

• Providing cost tracking and control across projects, monitoring labour, materials, subcontract and overhead costs.
• Managing WIP schedules, ensuring accurate valuation and reporting.
• Preparing monthly project, overhead and workshop financial reports.
• Maintaining the GL, preparing journals, reconciliations, and accurate cost allocations.
• Leading budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance and trend analysis.
• Financial processes and internal controls improvement.
• Support project close-outs, audits and feasibilities

The successful candidate will be degree qualified and completed/close to completed CA/CPA. In an ideal world you will have experience within construction, engineering or utilities. You will have strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. You will enjoy being a business partner and working collaboratively across teams.
