About the role
This is an opportunity to use your data analysis skills to support the Department’s financial management information system (TechnologyOne CiA Financials) and subsidiary financial systems, finance system processes, procedures, reporting, and interfaces linked to the finance system.
You will provide specialist advice and technical support on financial systems processes.
Our ideal candidate has
- A well-developed understanding of financial systems or platforms.
 - Strong data analysis skills, demonstrated experience using Microsoft Excel.
 - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and corporate finance concepts.
 - An ability to follow procedures and escalate issues appropriately.
 - Strong communication and teamwork skills.
 - A willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changes.
 - Relevant project management and / or formal business analysis experience, ideally in finance or systems related discipline.
 - A degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field (or nearing completion).
