About Us

Adventure Ability Services is a leading NDIS-registered provider specialising in outdoor, activity-based programs for people with disabilities across Queensland.
Our mission is to create opportunities for individuals to participate in sport, recreation, and adventure-based activities that build confidence, independence, and community connection.

We collaborate closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, doctors, and other allied-health professionals to design programs that improve functional outcomes, enhance physical and mental wellbeing, and empower participants to live more independent and fulfilling lives.

Our values focus on inclusion, empowerment, and safety — and our multidisciplinary team works together to ensure every participant receives high-quality, person-centred support across the Moreton Bay and Brisbane regions.

Role Overview

The Active Living & Community Engagement Officer plays a key role in program development, coaching, and participant support. This position combines hands-on disability support, fitness and recreation leadership, and mentoring of other team members.

You’ll plan, coordinate, and deliver outdoor, fitness, and community programs that promote independence, health, and participation — working closely with allied-health professionals and support teams to achieve each participant’s NDIS goals.

Encourage independence, emotional wellbeing, and skill development.

Support participants in therapeutic exercises and goal-driven routines.

Coaching & Mentoring

Train and mentor other support workers in active-support techniques, safety, and participant engagement.

Model best practices in behaviour management, communication, and fitness delivery.
