About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead Carringtons Traffic Services through its next phase of growth and operational excellence. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the business — ensuring high standards of safety, performance, client satisfaction, and team engagement.

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple sites and projects throughout WA.

· Develop and execute business strategies to achieve sustainable growth and profitability.

· Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of operations, admin, and field personnel.

· Ensure compliance with all WHS, Main Roads WA, and industry regulations.

· Manage budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation.

· Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.

· Represent the company in industry networks and strategic partnerships.

About You

You are a proven leader with strong commercial acumen and a track record in managing operations within the traffic management, civil construction, or related industries.

· Minimum 5+ years in a senior management or operations leadership role.

· Strong understanding of traffic management, civil works, or infrastructure services.

· Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

· Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage change, and deliver results.

· Sound financial management and business development capabilities.

· Commitment to safety, compliance, and quality service delivery.

· Current driver’s licence and the right to work in Australia.
