About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing team and help drive strategic growth across key industry sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional with a proven track record in business development, sales, or account management within the defence, transport, or renewables/utilities industries.

You'll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and supporting the delivery of innovative solutions that meet client needs and align with our company's long-term strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities within your target industry sector.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.

Lead and coordinate the development of proposals, tenders, and bids.

Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and competitor activity.

Collaborate closely with internal teams to develop tailored solutions and value propositions.

Deliver on agreed sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.

About You

Minimum 2 years' experience in business development, sales, or account management role.

Proven experience within defence, transport, or renewables/utilities sectors (essential).

Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.

Degree-level qualification in business, engineering, or a related field (desirable).

Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position.
