We’re looking for a Organic Social Media Lead to join our team. This is a full-time role, working at our office in Cremorne with remote work options.
At Sod, you’ll collaborate with a diverse team of talented designers to help create organic social media campaigns and design digital assets for clients in diverse industries like not for profit, health, FMCG, and property.
The right candidate is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication skills, and is passionate about design.
What you will do
Manage a team to create engaging visual content for organic social media campaigns, including static posts, GIFs, short videos, and Stories, using Figma.
Manage a team to create engaging post copy content that meets brand objectives; engagement, clicks, lead generation etc.
Possess a strong understanding of social media platform best practices and design specifications (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok) to optimise content for each channel.
Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and visual identity, maintaining consistency in style and messaging.
Work closely with the Creative Director to ensure designs support the overall social media strategy and campaign objectives.
Build strong client relationships and collaborated to achieve exceptional results on large social media initiatives.
Analyse content performance data to understand what resonates with the target audience and iterate designs accordingly. Reporting not just on numbers but bringing insights into our client social media reports
Actively listen and respond to audience comments, questions, and feedback on social media channels, fostering a sense of community and building relationships with followers.
Stay up-to-date with current social media design trends and emerging platforms to ensure content remains fresh and relevant.
Manage social media reports that may require support and mentorship.
What you will bring
Minimum 3-4 years experience in organic social media management
Good understanding of Figma and Canva
Attention to detail – you take pride in your work and sweat the small stuff
Good communication skills and a desire to learn
Qualifications
Bachelor degree or higher qualification.
3 years full time work experience.
Proven experience in design and strategic planning to deliver digital content, social media campaigns and blog articles.
A positive Skills Assessment
A minimum English language ability score of 6 each in PTE or IELTS at Competent level. With the ability to create reports, briefings and presentations externally and internally.
