The Role
We seek a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The Sous Chef will play a key role in managing kitchen operations, supervising staff, and consistently delivering high-quality dishes. This position requires a hands-on leader who is passionate about food, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and works well under pressure. The ideal candidate will assist the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen management, including menu planning, food preparation, inventory control, and staff training and development.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should be a dynamic and experienced culinary professional with the following qualifications and skills:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role in a high-volume kitchen
Strong knowledge of professional cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Food safety certification is a plus
