We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. In this pivotal role, you will work alongside our Head Chef and fellow Sous Chef to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Key Responsibilities

Partner with the Head Chef to develop and refine menu offerings.

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring excellence in food quality and presentation.

Lead, train, and support kitchen staff, promoting adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.

Manage inventory and coordinate supply orders to maintain efficient kitchen workflow.

Monitor food costs and implement strategies to optimize kitchen efficiency.

Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.

Stay informed on culinary trends relevant to club dining and the local area.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Strong culinary skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Proficiency in diverse cooking techniques and cuisines.

Effective leadership and communication skills to inspire and guide the team.

Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Experience with food cost control and inventory systems.

Competency in word processing, spreadsheets, email, and intermediate computer skills.

Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and school holidays.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Sous Chef or equivalent role.

Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.

Proven success in managing kitchen teams in high-volume settings.

Strong team collaboration and interpersonal skills.
